Ongoing Job Responsibilities:

This position is Product Engineer for the Product Engineering group.  Ongoing responsibilities include generate and maintain technical data packages for multiple projects; provide technical customer interface for projects; solve manufacturing problems.  Provide proposal support and serve as technical lead on development projects.

  • Ability to translate customer requirements into detailed process documents to verify all requirements are met
  • Solve processing and production problems by obtaining data and performing analysis to identify cause and effect 
  • Effectively interpret and communicate technical information and complex ideas in support of external and internal customers

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
Hiring Requirements:
  • B.S. in Engineering (electrical, chemical or mechanical preferred) or other technical field (Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry)
  • Self-starter and schedule-driven
  • Demonstrate attention to detail through accuracy and completeness of information
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Hiring Preferences:
  • Experience with manufacturing and safe handling of energetic devices preferred 
  • Three years of work experience in related role in engineering or project management preferred, but will also consider new graduates
  • Measurement and instrumentation experience desired
  • Statistical analysis preferred
  • Geometric, Dimensioning, & Tolerancing knowledge preferred
  • Basics of electrical science preferred, ability to perform rudimentary circuit analysis 
Educational Requirements:
  • Minimal Education level Required: B.S. in Engineering or other technical field (Physics, Chemistry)
