This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and effectiveness of the learning strategy for EaglePicher’s special processes. They will be responsible for driving the acquisition, training, and effectivity of special process certifications at EaglePicher. In addition, this position is responsible for the overall development, planning, implementation, and delivery of company-wide training for these special processes.


  • Work with team members to develop an effective Special Process training program and a training Center of Excellence
  • Comprehend the company’s processes, procedures, and goals to develop suitable companywide training and development curricula
  • Provide training for special skills – Solder, Crimp, Wire Harness Assembly, and Polymerics in accordance with IPC J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620, NASA-STD-8739.1, NASA-STD-8739.4, and NASA-STD-8739.6
  • Responsible for the Foreign Object Elimination program
    • Serve as the FOD program leader and subject matter expert for FOD prevention
    • Lead the organization in FOD prevention programs and efforts
    • Ensure the effectiveness of the FOE program and efforts
    • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective training program to support the FOE program
  • Responsible for the ESD program
    • Serve as the ESD program leader and subject matter expert for ESD prevention
    • Conduct ESD audits and tests in accordance with Industry Requirements
    • Ensure the effectiveness of the ESD program and efforts
    • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective training program to support the ESD program
  • Trouble-shoot issues in production regarding the special skills
  • Support customer/business needs or improvement opportunities by identifying technically and commercially competitive solutions for special processes
  • In line with the business needs or strategy, monitor technology evolutions in the market and bring in technical expertise in that technology
  • Ensure compliance to QMS & Industry Standards
  • Work with cross-functional teams to establish, review, and monitor standards as well as the systems and processes for supporting business performance
  • Understand and accommodate various learning styles with integrity and professionalism
  • Creates presentations, supplemental training materials, and delivers training
  • Partner with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) on the creation and delivery of training topics


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, Bachelors Degree preferred
  • U.S. Citizen or permanent resident (green card holder)
  • 5-7 years of Business, Operations, or Quality background with proven experience managing all aspects of a training and/or development function or an equivalent combination of relatable education and experience
  • Must be able to effectively train all staff levels on technical skills, soft skills, and leadership skills
  • Ability to successfully present information in individual and group settings
  • Communicate with professionalism, diplomacy, and tact
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and see the “big picture” to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Creative, self-motivated team player with a positive demeanor to motivate and inspire others to succeed

Inclusive interpersonal skills

  • Ability to write, read, interpret, and evaluate various information and reports
  • Capability to understand legal documents, processes, and practices
  • Must communicate and present information in a clear and concise manner
  • Automation experience: Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Adobe. Legal software experience a plus
  • Travel to other EaglePicher locations to conduct training and attend meetings as needed
  • Occasional remote work and travel
