This position will reside at the C Street Facility in Joplin, MO.

Ongoing Responsibilities:
  • Fostering of safe working practices
  • Analyze, monitor and maintain production schedules, track progress and assess the impact of schedule slippages
  • Gather, input and maintain RE data requirements for scheduling, production planning, capacity planning and MRP/PRP.
  • Work with Product Engineering to create and maintain process routings, BOMs, specifications and control plans in Plex for MRP/PRP system for all manufacturing
  • Provide leadership with clear, timely and accurate information and make recommendations with which to make decisions. 
  • Gather relevant data and forecast cost elements related to the strategic planning and S&OP ensuring timely and accurate reporting and tools
  • Facilitate continuous improvement strategies in accordance with lean supply chain management concepts throughout the organization
  • Facilitate operational paperwork requirements
  • Prepare weekly metric reporting and other reporting as assigned
  • Any other tasks as assigned
Key Objectives:
  • Build and maintain capacity plans per master schedules & production schedules for Operations. 
  • Work closely with Master Scheduler and Material Planners to ensure all materials required to meet the production schedule arrive at the right time.
  • Maintain and track metrics to evaluate plant performance. 
  • Track product builds, actuals, shipments and inventory in Master Schedule.
  • Actively participates in lean events and continuous improvements activities.     
Hiring Requirements:
  • High school diploma required.  Associates or degree preferred
  • 3-5 years planning, inventory control experience desired
  • Energetics experience required
  • Data analysis experience or aptitude
  • Strong computer skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, V-lookup)
  • Excellent record of attendance and reliability
  • Highly detailed and organized
  • Strategic planning and conflict resolution skills 
Hiring Preferences:
  • 3 or more years’ experiencing in a manufacturing environment
  • High School/GED Required; Associates Degree preferrred
