Production Technician (Powders, Seneca Facility)

As a Production Technician, you will join the Powder Blending team and be a key contributor in hands-on manufacturing of a wide variety of power solutions for missiles, ordnance, CAD/PAD, and Space and Aerospace applications. 


Your core responsibilities will be to:

·         Foster safe working practices;

·         Analyze, produce, monitor, and maintain production powders;

·         Understand and work to a Kanban requirement;

·         Track inventory on a regular basis;

·         Pay great attention to detail and be able to multi-task;

·         Work outside on occasion, in extreme hot and cold temperatures;

·         Complete other tasks as assigned.


To succeed in this position, you must:

·         Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent;

·         Have a current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL);

·         Be willing and able to pass an Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) Background Screening;

·         Have 3-5 years of manufacturing experience;

·         Have experience in working with energetic devices;

·         Have a basic understanding of general chemistry;

·         Be able to work well under pressure;

·         Be able to follow detailed instructions;

·         Pass a lung function test for a respirator;

·         Have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills;

·         Have an excellent record of attendance and reliability;

·         Be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs;

·         Be highly detailed and organized.


In addition to meeting the basic requirements, the most successful candidates will also have:

·         Analytical lab experience;

·         Strong computer skills;

·         An ability to interact with all levels throughout the organization.
