Perform multiple plating techniques (passivation, electropolish, special cleaning , DS9 etching, ionic testing, & various layer stripping) on components and assembled parts using a variety of tools and equipment, according to specification. We are hiring for first and second shifts.


  • Perform multiple plating techniques (passivation, electropolish, special cleaning, DS9 etching, ionic testing, & various layer stripping) on components and assembled parts using a variety of tools and equipment, based upon product specification.
  • Assist in the rework of plated parts by stripping rejectable layers.
  • Collect materials and equipment needed to begin the plating process.
  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions, plating travelers or procedures as needed to perform plating operations.
  • Perform required post-plating bake operations in accordance with work instructions.
  • Achieve applied and earned production rates to standard.
  • Perform inspections and measure parts using basic measurement tools, electronic instruments and visual standards. Perform Ionic Testing in the lab per associated work instructions.
  • Keep equipment operational by completing advanced preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Complete work with strict adherence to work instructions and detail sheets.
  • Document actions by completing required production documentation and performing ERP transactions .
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing department goals.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Adhere to company safety requirements at all and wear necessary PPE.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates degree in chemistry or wet chemical process familiarity preferred
