  • Overview

    The primary purpose of this position is to supervise personnel performing environmental testing on Space, Aircraft, Defense, and Medical batteries. Must be willing and able to obtain a Security Clearance.


    Your core responsibilites consist of:

    • Leads technicians and provides resources, direction and training to read, understand, and follow detailed instructions that involve multiple steps, some with intricate equipment
    • Accurately review production schedules to develop the timing and organization of testing assignments
    • Understand and maintain the workflow in the assigned areas to ensure effective use of resources
    • Assist coordination with customer representatives to support their testing requirements
    • Participate in the resolution of hardware problems or process non-compliances working with other supervisors of Quality, Engineering and Production
    • Maintain and approve time records for all direct reports
    • Review and approve test documentation
    • Assist with writing test procedures and a developing training program
    • Other duties as assigned.


    To succeed in this position, you must have:

    • Working knowledge of all battery testing environments
    • Strong communication skills
    • High school diploma, Associate Degree or above a plus
    • Comprehensive Microsoft Office skills and good working knowledge of PLEXUS MRP system
    • Must be willing and able to obtain a Security Clearance.
