Quality Supervisor


OVERVIEW

To apply you must be experienced with Lean Manufacturing principles, have 3 years of supervisory experience, and be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident/Green Card holder.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your core responsibilities will be to:

·         Lead QC leads, inspectors, and technicians and provide resources, direction and training to read, understand, and follow detailed instructions that involve multiple steps, some with intricate equipment

·         Accurately review production schedules to develop the timing and organization of inspection assignments

·         Understand and maintain the workflow in the assigned areas to ensure effective use of resources

·         Assist coordination with customer representatives to support their inspection requirements

·         Participate in the resolution of hardware problems or process non-compliances working with other supervisors of Quality, Engineering, and Production

·         Maintain and approve time records for all direct reports

·         Establish and maintain consistent expectations for work schedules and responsibilities of directs

·         Improve workflow and throughput of inspection with assistance of Six Sigma group

·         Assist in development of SPC methods and data for inspections

·         Ensure employees are provided adequate training and documentation of same

·         Assist in predictions for inspection resource needs of facilities

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

·         Working knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, and ISO13485 standards for quality control

·         High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

·         Excellent record of attendance and reliability

·         Comprehensive Microsoft Office skills and good working knowledge of PLEXUS MRP System

·         Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

·         Ability to coordinate, cross train and support inspectors and technicians at other facilities when necessary

·         Extremely detail-oriented and able to manage and organize multiple projects

·         Able to work with a variety of personality types and provide unbiased feedback of good and bad performance

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Able to work flexible hours when required

·         Associate’s Degree or Technical Training preferred
