As a Quality Inspector III you will work to ensure EaglePicher delivers only the highest quality mission critical, high technology, state of the art batteries for medical, defense and aerospace applications.

  • The QA Technician supports Quality function for batteries in the areas of compliance to Quality standards and customer specifications as well as problem resolution of non-compliances.
  • Position will work with minimum supervision within company policies and procedures.
  • Reading, understanding and following multiple steps of complex, detailed instructions, and maintaining documentation of same
  • Responsible for doing visual, dimensional and electrical inspections using standard measuring instruments.
  • Accurately review Quality related data for Production to verify compliance to specifications or variances from defined acceptance criteria
  • Participate in the resolution of hardware problems or process non-compliances working with supervisors of Quality, Engineering and Production
  • Understand and maintain the workflow in the assigned area to ensure effective use of resources.
  • Perform in-process quality inspections, receiving inspections ( to include GD&T) and final product inspections
  • Identification and verification of current documents, drawings and procedures for specific processes
  • Record, distribute and file appropriate data gathered from inspections and testing as per instructions
  • Ability to use computer systems to perform daily functions and documentation
  • Must be capable of handling delicate materials
  • Effectively communicate with supervisors and operators if defects are identified
  • Position will work under direct supervision with company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • US Citizen or permanent resident
  • Proficient in use of MS Word, Excel and outlook
  • 2-4 years’ experience in ISO-9000 and AS9100 standards for quality control
  • Working knowledge of inspection processes, statistical methods, filing and data entry
  • Detail oriented to detect defects and non-conforming product
  • Working knowledge of inspection processes, statistical methods, filing and data entry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent record of attendance and reliability
  • Willingness to participate in and maintain a spirit of teamwork
  • Working knowledge of inspection processes
  • Able to use a microscope for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work overtime or alternate schedules as required
  • Basic math skills and ability to learn computer systesm
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs. on occasion and stand for long periods of time
