ABOUT THE POSITON

The Warehouse Group Lead is responsible for overseeing the receiving of product, maintaining of inventory, and issuing of product to the production floor. In addition, this role is responsible for the governance of precious metals, shelf life, and cycle counting processes. Must maintain FIFO inventory structure and ensure inventory is accurate in all storage locations. This function will have direct interface with contracts, accounting, program management, SCM, engineering, carriers, and other EPT facilities on a routine basis.

Responsibilities

  • Fork-truck field test administrator
  • Sorts, counts, and checks goods received against bills of lading, purchase orders, etc
  • Electronically enters receipts into ERP system
  • Allocates materials, supplies and other received goods to shelves, racks or floor locations
  • Maintains computerized inventory control to ensure physical inventory matches electronic data in ERP system
  • Maintains receiving files and reports figures as needed
  • Oversees storage and distribution of all materials held in the precious metals cage
  • Responsible for monthly shelf life sweep, quarantine, and disposal of expired materials
  • Performs weekly cycle counts, corrections, and reporting
  • Distributes safety materials and responsible for accident reports
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Persons
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience operating a forklift
  • Fork-truck field test administrator
  • Experience operating standard manual and automatic equipment
  • Ability to lift and move upwards of 50 lbs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills essential
